In the last two weeks I have attended branch meetings of the Co-operative party and of the Labour party. I was surprised at the low turn out at both. We are approximately six months from an election and unless we want a repeat of what happened in the local elections we need to get motivated and get working. This is not the time for bickering and sniping there's plenty of time for that next June when we will be starting either a fourth term or a long time in opposition. What we do now will determine which of these it is. It is a very well known fact that the British public will not vote for a divided party so let's rally round and give ourselves a fourth term.
